Scuba Diving at Sandals Resorts
While others charge extra for scuba diving, Sandals includes the most
comprehensive resort diving program in the Caribbean at no extra cost.
Everything from equipment to instruction - even resort certification - is
included. So explore the mysterious wrecks off the coast of Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua or the Bahamas.
Caribbean's Most Exciting Dive Sites
Sandals offers some of the most exciting dive sites in the Caribbean. Each possesses a unique character with colorful marine life and pristine coral reefs. Top of the line equipment and professional instruction are included. So go ahead and take the plunge.
Even Non-Certified Guests can Dive
For guests who are not certified or would like to scuba for the first time, we
offer a resort course. To qualify you must pass a water skill check, meet
medical requirements and fill out a liability release. After completing the
course will be allowed one tank dive (of approx. 30ft) per day.
Whether you are a certified diver or not, you must meet medical requirements before diving. If you have a medical condition that is outlined on Sandals web-site, you must have a doctor sign off on it and bring it to the resort. However, the dive instructors at our resorts have the final approval on whether or not a guest is considered fit to dive. Please ask us for details.
Attention Certified Divers
If you are a certified diver and the instructor feels you need to take a
refresher course, you have two options:
• Take the 3 hour complimentary resort course, however this allows you to do shallow dives only.
• Take the 1.5 hour certified diver refresher course (US$ 50.00) per person. As per PADI standards this will allow you to dive as a certified diver.
