Even Non-Certified Guests can Dive
For guests who are not certified or would like to scuba for the first time, we
offer a resort course. To qualify you must pass a water skill check, meet
medical requirements and fill out a liability release. After completing the
course will be allowed one tank dive (of approx. 30ft) per day.
Whether you are a certified diver or not, you must meet medical requirements before diving. If you have a medical condition that is outlined on Sandals web-site, you must have a doctor sign off on it and bring it to the resort. However, the dive instructors at our resorts have the final approval on whether or not a guest is considered fit to dive. Please ask us for details.
Attention Certified Divers
If you are a certified diver and the instructor feels you need to take a
refresher course, you have two options:
• Take the 3 hour complimentary resort course, however this allows you to do shallow dives only.
• Take the 1.5 hour certified diver refresher course (US$ 50.00) per person. As per PADI standards this will allow you to dive as a certified diver.
